It’s so hard to process what happened to Dorian Whittington, especially in a place like Atlanta where community should mean safety. What troubles me deeply is the sheer audacity and brutality of the crime. How can three attackers so brazenly commit such an unspeakable act on Martin Luther King Jr. Drive, a street symbolizing peace and equality?
Dorian wasn't just another victim. He was someone’s son, perhaps a father or brother, who had his life cruelly taken away. It’s devastating to think about the fear he must have felt in those final moments. I hope the officers working on this case can piece together what happened and find the culprits. There are people out there who know what went down and could help bring some peace to his family. If anyone has any information, no matter how small, please consider coming forward. Dorian deserves justice, and his family deserves answers. It’s time for this violence to end.
