Has anyone else been following the Siphat Chau case from Portland, Maine? There's something that's been bugging me about his disappearing act around Christmas in 2005. Chau left his wallet, car keys, and vehicle behind when he vanished, which seems a bit bizarre given the circumstances. Most people I know wouldn't go far without at least their wallet or car keys, especially when facing financial troubles. I'm starting to wonder if maybe someone close to him took advantage of his gambling issues. Could there be someone besides the authorities who might have known about his struggles and intentions? I'm curious to hear if anyone has any thoughts or theories on this aspect of the case.
