Just heard about Savannah Mae Fulmer's case, and it's just so tragic. I can't even imagine what her family must be going through right now. Especially knowing she was such a bright student and loved animals just makes it even more painful. I heard her mother spoke out in court about how much she misses her daughter and future granddaughter, and my heart goes out to her. Has anyone else read anything about the close-knit support they received from the Henry County community? It's good to see that people came together for them. I can only hope that the justice served brings them some sense of peace, even if it's just a little. Anyone else on here from McDonough and can speak to the community's response?

Hey everyone, I've been thinking a lot about the impact this case had on Savannah's school community. Eagles Landing High School must have felt an immense void after losing Savannah, especially since it happened so suddenly. With Savannah being an active member of the softball team and a known animal lover, she seemed like someone who brought a unique energy and spirit to her classmates and teammates. It just breaks my heart to think of the students and teachers who had to return to school and face the absence of a friend and a bright, young soul like her. I hope the school and community rallied around each other to cope with this loss and find ways to remember and honor her. Has anyone heard if there were any memorials or ongoing tributes set up in her name? I think it could be a healing step for everyone who knew her. Sending love to all who were touched by her life.

Hey everyone, I was thinking about the timing of everything in Savannah and Dahmir's case—specifically meeting Joyner the day before Thanksgiving. I can't shake the feeling that they must have had a sense of anticipation, maybe about Thanksgiving or simply spending time together, and it breaks my heart to know how it ended. It's chilling to see how someone could exploit a situation like that for such horrible intentions. It's terrible that their lives ended in such a tragic manner when they were just planning a normal day. I just hope that Savannah and Dahmir's family and friends find comfort in each other and in their cherished memories. My thoughts are with them as they navigate such a difficult journey toward healing. It seems like the community is rallying around them, which is really important in times of tragic loss. Would love to hear your thoughts on community support in cases like this. How do these communities usually fare in the long term? It seems like the justice system has done its job here, but it's the people left behind who continue to need support and love.
