Did anyone else catch the part about the 16-year-old boy who was injured during the incident? My heart goes out to him as I can't imagine how terrifying that experience must have been. It's already traumatizing to witness such violence, but to be physically injured and lose someone close, especially a mom, is beyond comprehension. It's always the innocent who suffer. I hope he is receiving the support and counseling he needs to heal from both his physical and emotional scars.
