I've been diving into Katharine Rose's case, and something that's been puzzling me is her history with local bars. Given her mental health struggles and the fact that she didn't take her medication with her, I wonder if she might have sought refuge or companionship in places where she felt less judged. It's such a delicate issue because her mental state at that time could have made her vulnerable to different situations. Are there any locals here from Puyallup who recall if there were any bars back then with a reputation for being particularly welcoming or helping people in need? I feel like this angle might provide a fresh lead or at least offer a better understanding of where she might have headed after leaving the facility. Thoughts and input would be much appreciated!
It's been years, but Katharine Rose's case still puzzles me. I can't shake the feeling that there's a piece of the puzzle missing. Given that Katharine was a regular at local bars, it seems odd that nobody has come forward with any sightings or info. Did anyone know her well enough to notice if she seemed unsettled or if she was planning to go somewhere? I know the authorities ruled out foul play, but the fact that she didn’t take her medication is worrying. Mental health facility staff might have some clues about her state of mind leading up to her disappearance. Did she express any thoughts about leaving town or going off the grid? I think it's worth revisiting and seeing if locals from that time period might remember someone with her description. Anyone else have any ideas on where else we could look for information?
