I was just thinking about the whole environment of that night. It’s so unsettling to imagine a place that should have been about fun and socializing turning into something so tragic. What really gets to me is the number of people who were there and witnessed it all happen. It's not just James' family who’s grieving but everyone who saw it, too. I can’t help but wonder how everyone else who was there is coping. All of them are bound to carry a piece of that night with them. I sincerely hope that as more details come out, it encourages someone to step up with information that can lead to justice. This kind of violence needs to stop. James Bivins Jr. deserved so much more from life, and his family deserves answers.
Anyone else struck by how many people were present, yet no one's come forward with solid leads? It's so frustrating to think that in a crowd, no one or maybe just a few people might have seen who pulled the trigger. I can't imagine what James' family is going through right now, knowing there are likely witnesses out there who could help bring some peace. Why do we have this "don't snitch" culture? It's just heartbreaking to think that fear or loyalty could stand in the way of justice for James. Hoping someone finds the courage to speak up soon. Stay safe, everyone!
