Hey everyone, I've been thinking a lot about the role that the community played in the investigation of Kareem Smalls' murder. It's really something to see how neighbors, friends, and even strangers came together to support his family and push for justice. The fact that it took almost a year to make an arrest shows how crucial that ongoing support can be in these cases. It's a reminder of how much strength there is in community. I was particularly struck by how Alderwoman Linda Wilder-Bryan has been involved. Her commitment is inspiring and shows the difference it can make when local officials stand by their residents in tough times. It's like everyone in Savannah came together with one voice to say Kareem would not be forgotten. I just wanted to express my appreciation for those who keep showing up and speaking out for victims and their loved ones, even when the process seems slow and painful. It's heartbreaking to see what Kareem's family had to endure, but seeing the arrest of Dyanta Samuels made me realize how powerful and necessary community solidarity is. Thoughts?
