Hey everyone, I've been reading through the posts about Robert Shaw, and something that's been bothering me is the lack of surveillance in Wheeler at the time he went missing. I know it's a small town, but even small coastal towns have a few cameras here and there, right? Does anyone know if authorities were able to review any footage from nearby businesses or traffic cameras from back in 2009? Or was there really nothing available that could have given them a lead? It's frustrating to think that a small detail like that might be what’s keeping this case from being solved. Any insights would be appreciated!
Has anyone considered looking into the area’s weather conditions around the time Robert Shaw went missing? I stumbled upon some old articles mentioning that there were heavy storms in Wheeler during October 2009. Could this have contributed to him getting lost or perhaps obscured any tracks or evidence? It's such a small town, any little bit of information could provide a new angle to explore. Maybe there's a witness who recalls seeing anything unusual during those stormy days? Just trying to brainstorm ideas that might shake loose something useful for his family and the ongoing investigation.
