I’ve been following LaToya Latrice Jones's case, and there's one aspect that's been on my mind. The role the community played was nothing short of powerful. It's incredibly important to see people stepping up to provide critical information, which ultimately helped SPD catch the suspect so quickly. I can't even imagine the pain LaToya's family is going through, but I hope it brings them some peace knowing that their community stood with them during such a painful time. It’s a reminder of the strength found in solidarity and how vital it is for everyone to be actively involved in keeping our neighborhoods safe. Sending strength to her loved ones.
