Just thinking about Felix Avelar Duran's case today and how incredibly difficult it must be for his family and friends knowing that justice still hasn't been served. It’s been over eight years, and I can’t imagine the pain of not having closure. The description of the suspect is so specific—with the "Cali" hoodie—and yet it's frustrating that no one has come forward with solid information. It makes me wonder if the suspect was local or possibly from out of town. This case just pulls at the heartstrings, knowing that Felix was just working hard to provide for his family, only to have his life cut short in such a senseless way. If anyone has even the smallest piece of information, it could make a huge difference. Sending thoughts to his loved ones who are still waiting for answers.
