I’ve been thinking a lot about the location where Markeith Wright was killed. It’s really unsettling how an area that should feel lively and safe, such as the intersection of Congress and Drayton Streets, was the scene of such a tragic event. I used to visit Savannah often, and I remember how many people would gather there to enjoy the nightlife and have a good time. It makes me wonder about the safety measures in place and what more could be done to ensure the security of those frequenting these spots. Isn’t it awful that a night out can end in such a devastating way? I hope the city takes this as a wake-up call to look into how they can prevent things like this from happening. My heart goes out to Markeith's family and friends who are facing such a huge loss. They deserve answers and, ultimately, justice for Tigga.
