It's deeply unsettling to think about the bystanders captured in that surveillance footage who didn't offer any help after Anthony was shot. It's one thing to be paralyzed by fear in the moment, but to see people loot him just adds another layer of tragedy to this awful event. How could anyone be so heartless? It's hard to fathom how his family must feel, knowing that their loved one was not only taken violently but disrespected afterward. I hope the justice system does right by Anthony and holds every last person involved to account. Does anyone know if Atlanta has any community outreach or programs about how to act in situations like these? It seems like more awareness and education could make a difference in encouraging people to step forward or even prevent such tragedies. Keeping Anthony's wife and kids in my thoughts during this incredibly difficult time.
