I’ve been thinking a lot about Johana Cabrales-Hernandez’s case, especially the impact this has had on her children. It must be incredibly tough for them to deal with not just the loss of their mother, but the confusion surrounding the circumstances. They were so young when this happened, and I can’t imagine the lifelong effect of losing a parent in such a traumatic way. I hope the family is getting the support they need for the kids. Therapy and a stable, loving environment can make such a difference in helping them process everything in the years to come. It’s such a stark reminder of how domestic violence ripples through families, affecting everyone involved. My thoughts are with the Cabrales family as they navigate this unimaginable tragedy.

I’ve been following Johana’s case closely, and my heart goes out to her family and especially her two young children. It's unfathomable to think about the horror and confusion they must be feeling without their mother. I keep thinking about the unknown person who dropped off the kids at a relative's house — who were they and what role might they unwittingly or knowingly have played in all of this? Sometimes, these seemingly minor details can be a key piece of a larger puzzle. Kudos to the Roswell Police Department for acting quickly and extending their search when Fabien Perry fled the state. It’s terrifying how domestic violence can escalate so tragically, and I can only hope that more attention on these cases leads to better protection and support for those trying to get out of such dangerous situations. Thinking of Johana's family and hoping they’re finding the strength to heal during this unimaginable time.
