Hey everyone, I’ve been following the tragic case of Gary Pitts closely, and I keep coming back to the ShotSpotter technology that played a pivotal role in this investigation. It's incredible how this tool alerted officers immediately, allowing them to respond so quickly. While it’s awful that Gary was found too late, I can’t help but think about all the cases where such tech might give victims a better chance. It’s a double-edged sword—sometimes it offers leads and hopes, other times it just marks the start of a devastating story. I hope that perhaps this technology will help bring more awareness and prevent future tragedies. Sending all my thoughts to Gary's family and friends during this difficult time.

I’ve been following Gary Pitts' case closely, and something that struck me is the role of technology through the ShotSpotter alert.
