I’ve been thinking about the way social media played a significant role in this heartbreaking case involving Aiden and John. It’s so alarming how easily someone with bad intentions can manipulate these platforms to set up something so dreadful. It seems like a few exchanged messages can lead to a nightmare you might only expect in movies. The youth using social sites really need to be more aware of how quickly an innocent conversation can turn dangerous.
My heart aches for Aiden's and John's families—having to endure such a senseless tragedy, and all because of a cruel exploitation of something so commonplace in our everyday lives.
