I can't stop thinking about the impact this has had on GSU students and the surrounding community. It must be so unsettling for them to know that someone could be specifically targeted so close to campus. I’ve read that the university has ramped up security, which is good, but I’m sure students are still shaken by all this. It’s particularly tough for students who might have known Joshua personally, either through classes or social events. Just being a student in a place where something so awful happened is bound to affect daily life and sense of safety. My heart goes out to everyone there, and I hope the increased security gives them some peace of mind. The sooner justice is served, the better – no one deserves to face violence like this, especially in a place they considered a safe environment to learn and grow.

I'm really struck by the circumstances around Joshua's murder and can't stop thinking about the time and place this happened. A Sunday afternoon at a RaceTrac gas station seems so public and brazen. It makes me wonder about the perpetrators and their mindset. How could they have felt so emboldened to commit such a violent act in broad daylight near a university campus? The lack of suspects must be incredibly frustrating for Joshua's family and friends. I can't even imagine the pain they must be going through right now. The increase in security measures is absolutely necessary, but I hope it also brings some peace of mind to everyone who attends or works at Georgia State University. Does anyone know if there's been any public appeal for witnesses from the people who might have been around at the gas station? I just hope that someone comes forward with information. Keeping Joshua and his loved ones in my thoughts.

Hey everyone,
I live near Georgia State University's campus, and the increased police presence after Joshua's tragic passing has been noticeable. It's been nearly a year since that horrible day, and it's devastating to see that no one has been held accountable yet. I didn't know Joshua personally, but he was a part of our community, and his loss is deeply felt by many of us around here. It's especially concerning to think that this wasn't a random act. It makes you wonder what led to such a terrible event.
With the lack of updates, I wonder if there's something we're missing or if there's more people in the community can do to assist the investigation or support Joshua’s family. I've heard about people organizing vigils and spreading awareness on social media to keep his memory alive. It's comforting to see how people have been coming together, but Joshua deserves justice, and his family deserves answers.
If anyone knows of any other efforts happening around Atlanta or particularly on campus that might help push for justice, please do share. Every little bit might help bring some clarity and justice for Joshua.
