I've been following the case of Justin Rock Powell and Malik Grover and it truly got me thinking about the broader issue of gun violence among youth. I recently read about the role that social media disputes played in escalating this tragedy, and it just breaks my heart. How many times have we seen simple online arguments spiral out of control? Justin and Malik were just kids with their whole lives ahead of them. Both families and the entire community are facing a tremendous loss. This makes me wonder what schools and communities can do better to teach conflict resolution and provide more positive outlets for young folks. Could more after-school programs or mentorship opportunities make a difference? Sending love and strength to the families of Justin and Malik. No one should have to go through such a senseless loss. Hoping for justice and peace for everyone involved.

It's truly baffling how what starts as a disagreement on social media can end with such devastating consequences. My heart goes out to Justin and Malik's families—I can't imagine what they're going through. The attempted connection between technology and conflict really makes me wonder: Are there enough resources or programs that teach young people how to manage disagreements without resorting to violence? It's a call for the community and the schools, perhaps. It's heartbreaking that these young lives are being cut short over disputes that might have been diffused with the right intervention. Does anyone know if the local schools have any conflict resolution programs or if there's community support for implementing them?
