Has anyone else looked into the timeline of Johnny Rex Cook Jr.'s disappearance? I was thinking about how he was last spotted at the Walmart in Weaverville around 9 PM on November 28, 2015. It’s such a bustling area—I mean, lots of people, cameras, and activity happening. It's really strange and frustrating how there’s not been much progress in identifying leads, considering he was seen in such a public place. Why wasn't he reported missing until a month later? Could this delay have impacted the investigation in terms of gathering evidence like surveillance footage? Maybe someone here knows if this particular location tends to keep footage for long periods? I hope law enforcement or anybody with info can find some new leads soon. This case deserves more attention, and Johnny's family deserves answers. If anyone's familiar with the area or has any insights, it’d be great to hear your thoughts.
Has anyone else noticed how unusual it is that Johnny wasn’t reported missing until about a month after he was last seen? I mean, being seen at a Walmart, surrounded by people, and then it taking such a long time for the missing person's report to be filed – it raises so many questions. I wonder if anyone who was at the Walmart that night might have seen something but just didn't realize its significance at the time. Maybe a potential sighting of him outside the store or even having a conversation with someone? The absence of CCTV footage details is frustrating. I really hope the delay didn’t cost any critical evidence. If anyone remembers being there that evening, even the smallest detail could be a clue. Johnny’s family deserves answers, and it's sad to see this much time pass without resolution.
Hey everyone,
I’ve been following the case of Johnny Rex Cook Jr. and something that puzzles me is the timeline of when he was reported missing. Why did it take a whole month for the missing person's report to be filed? It's baffling, especially since he was last seen at the Weaverville Walmart, which I'm sure would have been packed with shoppers at that time.
Does anyone know if there were any witnesses who came forward? Or maybe any footage from that night? The lack of leads seems strange given the circumstances. I've seen families in similar situations often try to get media attention early on, but it seems like Johnny's case didn't hit the news until much later. I’m hoping there are folks here with connections or ideas on how to bring more focus on the investigation. Any little thing might just help the family find answers.
Also, for anyone close to the area, have there been any community efforts or events to help keep his story alive? I really hope more details emerge soon. Let's keep discussing and sharing his story.
