Has anyone found any information on the hotel’s security measures during the time of the shooting? It's disturbing to think that such a tragedy could unfold in a place where people were supposed to feel safe. I know it's easy to point fingers in hindsight, but were there any protocols in place that failed, or was the rampage just completely unpredictable? I feel so deeply for the families of Barbara Carter and the other victims. They were just in the wrong place at the wrong time, but maybe there was something that could have mitigated the risk. Let’s make sure the lessons from this are never forgotten, so such tragedies become less likely in the future.
