Did anyone else attend the memorial walks held in Tampa for Richard Newton and the other young victims? It was deeply moving to see the community come together despite the tragedy. It felt like a powerful statement against the gun violence that has taken too many young lives. Standing there with Richard’s family and friends, the strength and resilience they showed in the wake of such unimaginable loss were apparent. You could feel the collective hope for change in the air. Still, it is heart-wrenching to think about all the futures cut short. I hope there will soon be meaningful action to prevent these events from happening. With every step in those walks, I was reminded of how precious life is. Love to Richard’s family; they are so brave in their fight for justice. If anyone else attended, I’d love to hear your thoughts and impressions.
