Hey everyone, I’ve been thinking deeply about the impact this case must have had on Candice McKinney's sons, especially Kareem, who was seriously injured during the tragic event. I can't even begin to imagine the trauma and sorrow he's been dealing with, not just from losing his mom but also from being directly affected by the violence that night. It’s crucial we bring more attention to the emotional and psychological aftermath for families of violent crime victims. I wonder if there are support systems in place for him and other families in similar situations. Does anyone know if there are local organizations or resources in Broward County that provide trauma support or counseling for young survivors? I believe the more we connect around these support systems, the more we can advocate for survivors who must rebuild their lives amidst such unimaginable pain. My heart goes out to Kareem, Logan, and the rest of Candice's family. They deserve justice and peace.
