I've been following the case of Darrell "Hightop" Rutledge, and it's truly difficult to comprehend the pain his family and friends must be going through. I noticed the Kings Ridge Apartments where he was shot seemed like such a community hub. How does such a tight-knit place cope when violence hits so close to home? It's hard to imagine the fear and unease people must feel now. The sense of loss must be immense, not only for Darrell's loved ones but also for folks living there who saw him as one of their own. I hope the community can rally together and maybe help provide crucial information that could finally bring some resolution to this case. My heart goes out to everyone touched by this tragedy. Stay strong, Jacksonville.
