Has anyone else been struck by the eerie silence from the police about the exact circumstances of Victoria Brown's tragic shooting? It's confusing and must be so difficult for her family and neighbors, not knowing what truly happened. While it's understandable that they need to protect the integrity of the investigation, it only adds to the confusion and rumor mill, especially with Vernon being a former law enforcement officer. It must be particularly tough for those who saw the couple at the barbecue earlier, smiling and hosting friends, to now grapple with this shocking reality. How does the community cope with such an event in a place where this type of crime seems so out of place? Sending my thoughts to those who knew and loved Victoria.
