Victoria Brown, aged 58, was found dead in her home in Cape Coral, Florida, on June 1, 2016. The Cape Coral Police Department identified the cause of death as a gunshot wound. The incident occurred in the 2900 block of SE 8th Place, a typically quiet neighborhood. Victoria's husband, Vernon Brown Jr., was taken into custody for questioning shortly after the discovery of her body.
