Has anyone else dug into the details about Jake Boyd’s roommate? It just doesn’t add up that Jake would leave everything behind, especially his phone and tablet. If you’re moving towns, why not take those essential items with you? The roommate’s story has too many holes—first saying one thing, then changing it. Plus, the fact that the roommate might’ve gotten rid of Jake’s electronics is super sketchy. It seems like there should be more scrutiny on this angle of the investigation. Is there any evidence that the roommate had issues with Jake before he went missing? Just feels like something crucial is being overlooked here.
Did anyone else find it odd how Jake left his wallet and keys behind? I’m no detective, but who leaves all their essentials when they're supposedly moving to a new town? I think the roommate’s story doesn’t add up. People don’t just walk away from their lives like that, especially when they’re about to start a new job. It almost seems like someone was trying to create a scenario to explain his absence without having to answer too many questions. If Jake was really planning to leave, wouldn’t he have at least contacted his family, given how close they reportedly were? ? Something just feels off here, and I can't shake the feeling there's more to the story. Thoughts?
I keep going back to the strange behavior of Jake's roommate. It's baffling to me that someone could just up and leave their life behind without taking anything—especially things like a phone and a car. I mean, who does that, right? The story about him leaving with two strangers just doesn't sit well with me. Why would anyone move to another town without their stuff or even say goodbye to their family?
And did anyone find it odd the roommate's story changed over time? At first, I tried giving them the benefit of the doubt, but the part about disposing of Jake's possessions makes no sense at all. It's like they were trying to erase any trace of Jake...or cover something up? I just feel like there's more to this story that we’re not seeing. It really makes you wonder what was going on in that apartment. Has anyone else had a similar gut feeling about the roommate being involved somehow, or is it just me?
