In early 2017, the life of Jacob Allen Boyd, a 36-year-old father from Columbus, Ohio, took a turn that left his family with more questions than answers. The last confirmed contact anyone had with him was on January 5, 2017. At the time, Jacob, known to his loved ones as Jake, was living with a roommate on the west side of the city.
