Hey everyone, I’ve been following the case of Martin Brooks, and something that’s been on my mind is the lack of community trust in law enforcement in the 5100 block of Park Heights Avenue. It seems like this distrust is really hampering investigations, not just for Martin’s case but for many others too. Does anyone here have insights on what might build better bridges between the community and police? In places where residents fear retaliation, they might not be as willing to come forward with crucial information. Improving this relationship could be key to solving cases like Martin's and providing some solace to families who, like Martin's, are still waiting for justice. I really feel for his family and everyone else impacted by similar crimes and hope solutions can be implemented that protect and support all parties involved.
