Hey everyone,
This case has been on my mind lately, and I can't help but feel for Shawn's friends and family. I read that after the incident, Forbes’ car was found abandoned in a wooded area, about five miles from where everything went down. It’s just so strange to think about the mindset of someone who not only commits such a violent act but then takes that extra step to hide the vehicle. Did they really think that would throw off the investigation?
I guess it makes you wonder if it was an impulsive decision in the heat of the moment or if they had some sort of plan. Either way, I hope the full truth comes out during the trial, and justice is ultimately served for Shawn and his loved ones. Just tragic all around. Would love to hear other thoughts on this part of the case.
I just can't stop thinking about the fact that Shawn Forbes’ car was found in a wooded area five miles from where he was killed. It's unsettling to imagine what might have been going through the minds of Mazzucco and Auletta as they tried to hide the vehicle. Maybe they thought it would buy them more time or distance from their crime? No matter what, it’s so sad to know that this man’s last moments were wrapped up in such violence and deception. The idea of his car being hidden away like that is haunting and harrowing, almost as if they were trying to erase any trace of what happened. My thoughts are with Shawn's family and loved ones as they have to piece through this nightmare. ?
