I was reading about Ahmad Rashad Laster Sr.'s case, and it's tough to imagine what his family must be going through. It's such a tragic loss for his wife Erica and their children. What gets to me is how disputes over something like an EBT card could lead to such a senseless act. It makes you wonder about the impact of desperation and poor decisions. The thought of losing someone you love so suddenly to violence, especially within your own family, has to be unimaginable. I hope his family has a strong support system to help them heal. Sending them all my thoughts during this difficult time.
