I've been following Veta Muller's case for a while, and I keep thinking about how vulnerable someone must feel when an attack happens right on their doorstep. It's terrifying to think that Veta was just steps away from the safety of her home when this horrendous act occurred. Porch shootings seem so senseless and brazen, especially in broad daylight. It makes me feel for the residents in that neighborhood. They must be on edge, wondering if something like this could happen again. I hope the police are rechecking all leads, and perhaps there are some neighbors who might have seen or heard something that didn't seem significant at the time. If any witnesses are out there still holding onto information, I pray they come forward. Veta's family deserves answers and peace, and this neighborhood deserves to feel safe again.

I can't get Veta's case out of my mind, especially the part about the ShotSpotter system. It's terrifying to think how safety measures like that are needed and how they bring attention to tragic events, but can't prevent them. I wonder if the system captured anything else that could help the investigation? Maybe there's more audio data or clues about the shooter's movements before or after the shots were fired? My heart goes out to Veta's family, and I hope someone comes forward with information that helps the case. If anyone here is from Jacksonville or knows more about how these systems work, I’d love to hear your insights. Let's keep this conversation going so we can find justice for Veta.
