I'm curious about the timeline of events leading up to Stephen's disappearance. The fact that his car was found with the hood up and a battery charger attached is intriguing yet puzzling. It seems like he resolved whatever car trouble he initially had since he texted that the issue was resolved, but then why leave the battery charger hooked up? Could it be that he had some ongoing issues with the battery or a charging system problem that might have delayed him? Or perhaps he got a ride from someone who knew about his car issues? The information about him being seen in a dark-colored pickup truck is interesting as well. I'm wondering if anyone else besides the landlord ever saw him with this truck or if there are any leads on who might have been driving. So many questions, and the whole thing just feels oddly planned out. Anyone else have thoughts on the vehicle situation?
Has anyone else found it strange that Stephen's cell phones were left behind in the camper? As a private investigator, you'd think he'd always have them on him, right? It feels like such an odd piece of the puzzle, especially given his line of work where being reachable would be pretty important. I can’t help but wonder if this was intentional on his part or if something happened so quickly he couldn’t grab them. I've read theories that maybe he planned to return soon after a quick ride or errand, but the fact that they were left just doesn't sit right with me. Could it be a clue or just an unfortunate coincidence? What are everyone's thoughts?
I’ve been following Stephen Paoletti’s case for a while, and I keep circling back to that Memorial Day cookout he missed. It seems strange to me that he fixed the car trouble, mentioned he'd be joining, but then just vanished without a trace. Considering his vehicle was left with the hood up and the battery charger attached, did he really resolve the issue, or was someone else involved after he texted his girlfriend? Also, another thing that stands out is how his phones were left behind. I find it puzzling that someone who relied on tech for work would just leave them. Maybe he intended to return shortly after meeting someone, possibly the person seen driving the pickup? Just throwing my thoughts out there, I’m curious to hear what everyone else thinks about this angle!
