I've been following the tragic case of Arlene and Leslie Weston, and I can't help but think about the immense pressure they must have felt after Hurricane Irma devastated their home and community. It's so sad to imagine them trying to piece their lives back together amidst so much destruction and how that added stress might have contributed to their tragic decision. I hope the community of Big Pine Key has been able to come together and support each other in the rebuilding process. It's moments like these that remind us how important it is to check in on our neighbors and offer help when needed. My heart goes out to all who knew and loved them; I can't begin to fathom the pain of such a loss.
