Was anyone else reading through old articles and stumbled across a mention of Michael Charles Thompson’s murder in 2015? It’s so difficult to think about how his family must still be searching for answers all these years later. It's alarming how many cases like his just seem to get lost in the shuffle, especially during such a violent year for Baltimore. What really haunts me is the fact it happened in a residential area. If anyone saw or heard anything, I wonder what has been stopping them from coming forward. Fear of retaliation? Lack of trust in authorities? I can only imagine the frustration of knowing there might be someone out there with vital information to solve this. I truly hope that someday soon, someone has the courage or opportunity to speak up, so that Michael's loved ones can finally have some closure.
