I was reading up on the legal outcomes, and I saw Nicols received 35 years for his role in this horrific crime. It got me thinking about the justice system and how it handles juveniles involved in such violent acts. At 17, Nicols was the youngest in the group, and I'm wondering how everyone feels about the length of his sentence, considering his age. It's such a difficult balance between holding individuals accountable and acknowledging their potential for change over time. Randy's case is beyond tragic, and I just hope his loved ones are finding some solace in the convictions that have come through so far.
