In July 2019, 34-year-old Randy Mueller was discovered deceased in his Daytona Beach apartment following a well-being check initiated by an acquaintance concerned over several days of no contact. Upon arrival, officers detected a foul odor and found Mueller's body under suspicious circumstances. Investigations revealed that Mueller had been kidnapped, tortured, and ultimately killed by a group of individuals.
