Has anyone else heard about the theories regarding Everett Ruess's supposed link with "Nemo"? For those who might not know, Ruess used the alias "Nemo" in his writings, which some say was inspired by Captain Nemo from Jules Verne's "20,000 Leagues Under the Sea." It's fascinating to think about why he chose that name—it suggests a desire to be unseen and to escape the constraints of society, much like the fictional character. Could this alias provide insight into his mindset right before he disappeared? Maybe he really did want to vanish off the grid. What do you all think about this connection, and do you believe it sheds any light on why he went missing?
