Just wanted to start a discussion about the surveillance footage relating to Evan's tragic passing. Given the location of the shooting, there had to have been at least one camera capturing something that night. Has anything been released to the public, and if not, what's the hold-up? The people in Evan's life deserve answers, and knowing the circumstances surrounding what happened could really help push this case forward. With all the violent crimes in Baltimore that year, it's infuriating to think that a lack of video leads could be slowing things down. I'd love to hear if anyone knows more about the status of the footage, or if there are efforts being made to sort through it. Thoughts go out to Evan's friends and family – this must be such an awful chapter in their lives, and I hope accountability is soon to follow.
Hey everyone, I've been thinking a lot about Evan Kent Davis and the tragic events on Park Heights Avenue. I wanted to discuss something that's been on my mind – the role of surveillance cameras in cases like this. It's reported that there was at least one camera in the area, but from what I understand, the details around the footage, or if it even captured anything useful, haven't been clear. It breaks my heart to think that technology might have been able to help more.
Given how crucial CCTV can be in investigations, I can't help but wonder what more could be done to ensure these cameras are effectively monitored and the footage properly analyzed. It's appalling to think that more lives could've been saved if there was a system in place that worked better in high-crime areas like Baltimore during that deadly year. My thoughts are with Evan's family and all the other families who lost loved ones during this tragic time. How can we push for better oversight and usage of these surveillance tools in the future to hopefully prevent such tragedies? Would love to hear any insights or thoughts you all might have on this.
Hey everyone,
I've been trying to wrap my head around the circumstances of Evan Kent Davis's tragic death. It’s really distressing to think about what his family must be going through. One thing that's been bugging me is that the shooting took place in an area with surveillance cameras. You'd think this would mean there would be some clear footage of what happened. Does anyone know if the police have said anything about whether they have any useful video or if there’s maybe an issue with the cameras? It's such a challenge when technology that’s meant to keep us safe somehow doesn’t bring about the justice or answers that are so desperately needed. My heart goes out to Evan's family and all those affected by the violent crime wave that year. It must have been terrifying for the whole community.
Thanks for any insights or thoughts you might have. Stay safe, everyone.
