Does anyone else feel like the lack of witnesses is really frustrating in Pleasent Broadus’s case? I get that there's a lot of fear and mistrust in neighborhoods around West Baltimore, but it’s disheartening to think that maybe someone out there knows something and just hasn’t come forward. This isn’t just about numbers or statistics; it’s about a real person who was loved by his family and friends. How can there be change if people are too scared or reluctant to help? I can't imagine what his loved ones are feeling, wanting answers and some kind of resolution. I hope the community can find a way to trust law enforcement enough to come together and break this cycle, not just for Pleasent’s sake, but for everyone affected by violence in the city.

I’ve been following the case of Pleasent Broadus, and my thoughts go out to his family and friends during this incredibly difficult time. It’s truly disheartening to see such violence impacting communities and leaving families in turmoil. I wanted to focus a bit on the concerns around witness cooperation in neighborhoods like the one where Pleasent was killed. Trust between law enforcement and community members seems crucial yet so fragile right now. From what I've read, there's a significant gap in communication, likely fueled by fear or past experiences, but it’s terrifying to think how this affects justice being served. If the community feels safer, maybe more people would step forward. It's a tough cycle to break, but any small steps to increase dialogue and develop trust could be invaluable. Is there anyone here familiar with efforts being made in Baltimore or other cities to address this issue? Would love to hear your thoughts or any programs that have made a positive impact elsewhere.
