Has anyone else noticed how often we overlook the warning signs in cases like Deputy Bieber's? It's absolutely gut-wrenching to realize that someone as dedicated and courageous as her could be suffering behind closed doors. It’s astonishing the level of bravery it must have taken for her to do her job every day, protecting and serving, while dealing with personal turmoil. This case really highlights the importance of supporting victims, even when the perpetrator is in a position of authority. We should push for better systems to safely report abuse, particularly when it involves someone from law enforcement. My heart goes out to Abigail’s family and friends; losing someone like her is an immeasurable loss. Let's not let her story fade. Awareness is key.
