I can't stop thinking about the brave attempt Matias' mother made to save him that day. It must have taken unimaginable strength and courage to try to perform CPR on her own child after discovering such a tragedy. My heart goes out to her and the rest of Matias and Valeria’s loved ones. It's so important for us as a community to support their family and ensure they don't feel alone during this unimaginably devastating time. Witnessing something so deeply traumatic can have lasting effects, and it underscores the critical need for accessible mental health services for all involved. It’s just so devastating to think about what Matias and Valeria must have gone through.
