Hey everyone,
I’ve been thinking a lot about the impact this horrific incident must have had on the children who witnessed it. Even though they weren't physically harmed, the emotional trauma from seeing their dad shot and losing both him and their unborn sibling must be unimaginable. It’s important not to overlook the psychological support these kids will need long-term. A tragedy like this doesn't just affect the immediate victims but ripples through their entire family. I can't begin to imagine how their lives have been changed by what they experienced that night. Sending so much love and strength to them and hoping they’re getting the care and support they need. If anyone has ideas on resources or organizations that could help, maybe we can share them and try to offer some light in such a dark situation.
I’ve been thinking a lot about the circumstances surrounding David Chavez’s case, and one angle that keeps nagging at me is the getaway vehicle. It really baffles me how a crime like this could happen in such a busy area, and yet, it seems like no solid leads have come from the vehicle involved. I mean, it's not like an SUV just disappears, right? There were other cars out that night with people enjoying the holiday lights on Candy Cane Lane. Did no one catch a license plate or notice the SUV in the area before or after the shooting? It’s so worrying that the female driver has stayed under the radar too. My heart goes out to David’s family and his girlfriend. They’ve lost so much, and justice feels too far away. Does anyone have thoughts on how this case might be moving forward or any theories about the vehicle’s role?
