I can't stop thinking about how incredibly tough it must have been for Charles Lehman’s family, especially given that his wife was expecting at the time of his passing. Being left to raise children alone after such a tragic and unexpected turn of events must have been unimaginably difficult. It really puts into perspective the personal sacrifices and risks that law enforcement officers and their families endure every day. I hope the memorials and tributes to Lehman provide some comfort, not just in honoring his service but in reminding his family that the community stands by them and remembers their loss. It's sad to think that the controversy surrounding the trial might have overshadowed the real human impact of his death. Lehman's story is a powerful reminder of the constant need for support and understanding for those left behind.

Does anyone else think it's suspicious that someone like Davies was able to walk away with an acquittal? I mean, the dispute over a card game, of all things, turned into such a deadly situation so quickly. I just feel for Lehman's family, especially since he’d barely started his role and to lose his life under those circumstances... it doesn't sit right with me. It reminds me just how messy and unpredictable life was back then, but also how certain tensions can lead to such irreversible consequences. I hope Lehman’s family found some peace over the years, though I imagine that must've been incredibly difficult given the circumstances surrounding the case. Thoughts?
