I've been thinking a lot about who registered the car Melvin X was found in - Elaine Parker. It's curious that her car was involved, and I'm wondering if anyone here has any more information about their connection. Were they close friends, or just classmates? It seems odd for her car to be at the scene unless there was more to their relationship. Did Elaine ever provide any statements or was she questioned extensively by the police at the time? I feel for her, too, as this would have been incredibly difficult to navigate. Such a tragic situation all around, and the lingering questions must be a heavy weight for Melvin's and Elaine's families. If anyone has looked into this aspect of the case, please share what you know.
