I've always been intrigued by the unsolved case of Barbara Colby's murder. It’s deeply unsettling how two talented individuals' lives were so cruelly snuffed out and that justice still hasn’t been served. I was thinking about the courage James Kiernan showed in his final moments. Despite his grave injuries, he managed to provide critical details to the police about the attack. It’s just unbelievable that even with that information, the killers were never identified. I wonder if this could turn into another one of those cases that get solved decades later because of new technology or a tip from someone who suddenly decides to come forward. My heart goes out to all those who knew Barbara and James and have had to live all these years without closure. Does anyone know if the case has been re-examined with modern investigative techniques? The randomness and viciousness of the attack make it all the more chilling.
