Has anyone else read more about the harrowing chase Deputy James Evans was involved in during the Norco bank robbery? It's so devastating to think about the chaos he faced that day. I was recently reading some accounts, and it's chilling how things escalated so quickly, leading to that terrifying ambush in the San Bernardino mountains. It's hard to imagine the immense fear and pressure the officers must have felt as they pursued those heavily armed suspects. It's a stark reminder of the risks law enforcement officers take every day. My thoughts are with Deputy Evans' family and colleagues who continue to carry on his memory. How have they been coping all these years later? It must be incredibly difficult to live on with such a huge loss.
