Hey everyone, I recently read about Henry Howell and his tragic death at the hands of the "Speed Freak Killers." What really struck me was how the investigative process spanned so many years before any answers started to emerge. I mean, it must have been so incredibly painful for Howell's family and friends to live for nearly two decades without any resolution or justice. To think they finally identified Loren Joseph Herzog as a suspect nearly 17 years after the crime just goes to show the tenacity and dedication of the investigators involved. It's intriguing yet chilling to see how the case evolved with the introduction of that "serial killer" statute, enabling prosecutors to piece together different cases across various jurisdictions. Henry's story reminds us how complicated the pursuit of justice can be, but also how important it is to never give up, no matter how many years have passed. I'm sending love and strength to all those who continue to grapple with the impact of these horrific events.
