I was digging through some old newspaper archives and came across an article from when Ray Webber's case was still unsolved. It’s so distressing to think about how much fear must have gripped the Riverside community back then. The article talked about how a lot of folks in the area were genuinely scared to even run errands or go about their daily routines. It's just unimaginable to think about living under that kind of threat, constantly looking over your shoulder because of the random nature of Danny Figueroa's attacks. Knowing they finally caught him must have been a huge relief, but I can’t help thinking about the long-lasting trauma for Ray’s family and everyone who lived through that time. Does anyone have insights into how the community coped in the aftermath?

Hey everyone, I’ve been reading a lot about Ray Webber and something that stood out to me was how deeply connected he was to his local community. Despite being just 19, it seems like he left a big mark on everyone who knew him. The outpouring of support and shared grief from friends and family is really moving. It must be incredibly difficult for a community to lose someone so young and vibrant, especially in such a senseless way. What really gets me is how this tragedy unfolded in a place that was supposed to be peaceful and safe—his brother’s ranch. It's sad to think of a family trying to move forward with what happened on what was meant to be a typical workday. I hope Ray's loved ones have found some solace in each other and in the memories they shared with him. Would love to hear if anyone knows more about how Ray’s family and the community have been coping over the years. How have they managed to keep his memory and spirit alive?
