Has anyone ever wondered if there might have been inconsistencies in the witness statements about seeing William Darrell Bowman on the bridge? It's always struck me as odd how these accounts seem so certain, yet there have been no solid leads or evidence to back them up after all these years. Eyewitness testimonies can be pretty unreliable, especially in the dark, right? I often think about how someone else on the bridge that evening might have seen something totally unrelated, or maybe, there was someone else who looked like him. It makes me think the focus on the bridge might have detracted from other potential angles or locations where William could have gone instead. Maybe we're missing something here. Thoughts?

Has anyone else found it strange that despite multiple witness accounts of seeing William Bowman on the bridge, his body was never found? If he truly jumped, wouldn't there typically be some trace? It seems like something might not add up here. The water currents around the 680 Bridge can be pretty strong, but I’ve read that bodies usually surface eventually in similar cases. Has anyone looked into possible sightings of him elsewhere, maybe in a nearby town or city? It seems unusual that there were no leads at all after that night. Maybe it’s just me, but I can't help but feel like there's more to the story.
