Hey everyone, I recently found myself thinking about how the chaos of the 1992 LA riots affected investigations into tragedies like the death of Ernest Neal Jr. It's so tough to think about how many lives were caught in the crossfire during that period and how these cases have faded into the background over the years. I'm wondering, does anyone have insight on how the lack of trust between communities and law enforcement complicated these investigations? It seems like such a big barrier to overcome, especially back then. I keep hoping that maybe someone will come forward, even after all this time, with new information that could help bring closure to Ernest's family. It's just so important for us to keep these stories alive as a reminder of the change that’s still needed.

I've been thinking a lot about Ernest Neal Jr.'s case and how it's never been solved. Has there been any effort recently to reach out to the public for help? Sometimes cases that seemed impossible to crack have been solved with just a single tip from someone who remembered something later on. Given the chaos of the 1992 riots, I wonder if there's anyone out there who might have seen or heard something back then but was too afraid to speak up. It must be incredibly difficult for Neal’s family to not have answers after all these years. It makes me wonder what resources are being used to revisit these older cases. Are there new technologies available now that weren’t back then, like improved ballistics analysis or advances in forensic science, that might shed some light on what happened to him? Maybe a new look at the evidence could hold some clues. Hoping someone, somewhere, knows something they can share to help bring some peace to those who loved him.
