Has anyone else looked into Robert Brens' background and found anything about his impact on students beyond just the shooting? I read he was a dedicated history teacher and really committed to his students' education. It's devastating to think that someone with such a passion for teaching had their life cut short in such a senseless act. Former students have shared stories about how he sparked their interest in history and went out of his way to help those struggling in his classes. It's clear he was much more than just a teacher to many—he was a mentor and a guiding light. My heart goes out to all who knew him and were impacted by this tragedy. Does anyone have more details or personal stories they'd like to share about Mr. Brens?
